Nourish Bridgeport
nOURish BRIDGEPORT (capitalization intentional) is a food-centered, volunteer-powered, community-anchored 501c3 bringing hope to our City through direct service programs. Bridgeport is defined as a Food Desert, with 1 in 4 residents facing daily food insecurity & inaccessibility to nutritious produce. nOURish provides thousands of neighbors weekly with Groceries from our Food Pantry, Formula & Diapers from our Baby Center, Hot Meals from our Soup Kitchen, Education from our English Classes, & Hope from our Hearts.

Alpha Community Services
The Alpha Community Services YMCA, a Bridgeport area pioneer in providing services dedicated to the homeless, has been a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA since 1992. The Alpha Community Services Y has grown and expanded its services, striving to provide not just temporary shelter but also a path to a better life for those experiencing homelessness – managing the largest family emergency shelter in Connecticut and providing supportive services to over 400 clients each year.

The Sealodge
The Sea Lodge was originally conceived and constructed in 1901 by the Sasquanaug Association of Southport, Connecticut. The Sasquanaug Association was founded by “a group of prominent local ladies seeking to improve and beautify the Village of South- port, Connecticut”. The association has impacted multiple aspects of Southport Village and has had a huge impact in maintaining the historic character of the Village.
